I have come across numerous blog post talking about Affiliate and Influencer Programs for bloggers. But when I try them out I never really get anywhere or the program is only for Americans. So I decided to come up with a list of the best influencer programs for lifestyle bloggers in the UK.
If you are looking to monetise your blog and make a bit of extra cash, then this will be a great read for you. I have trialled the majority of these programs out already, or I am in the middle of trying them.
So I decided I would make a version for UK bloggers.

What is affiliate/ influencer marketing?
Affiliate marketing is where you can sign up to an affiliate program which by you are given your own personalised link or code that you can share with your friends, family and followers. I have known people make over $1000 a month from simple affiliate sales!
When someone uses your code or link, you get commission from the sale!
“Influencer programs are a type of marketing that focuses on using key leaders to drive your brand’s message to the larger market. Rather than marketing directly to a large group of consumers, you instead inspire / hire/pay influencers to get out the word for you.”

Affiliate programs:
RewardStyle + LIKEtoKNOW.it
RewardStyle is a clothing affiliate program. So you promote items of clothing and if people use your link you get commission.
They also have an app called liketoKnow.It. This app is similar to 21 buttons whereby you post photos of outfits and you tag the items that you are wearing. People can then directly shop the item from your link.
If you don’t know what 21 buttons is, it is similar to an Instagram feed but only with outfits and you tag your clothes. I beleive you can make money through 21 buttons as well but I have not looked into this yet so it may be worth checking!
You can check out my outfits HERE!
Shopstyle
Again, Shopstyle is similar to RewardStyle. Shopstyle is free yo sign up to and there are no requirements. I use shopStyle for a ‘shop my look’ banner on my home page.
Amazon
I have heard good and bad thingd about Amazons affiliate program. I personally am a part of it but I don’t really include it in my posts anymore.
If you have lots of traffic then I believe it is worth trying to incorporate amazon affiliate links into your posts.
There are no requirements to sign up to Amazons program as far as I am aware, I was able to sign up having only been blogging for a few months.
Join Amazons affiliate program
ShareASale
ShareASale is similar to Amazon’s affiliate program. However, you can be an affiliate for lots of different brands. I am an affiliate for the Restored 316 who create beautiful themes for bloggers and businesses.
Again, I believe there are no requirements. Shareasale is one of my favourite platforms! It is so easy to use and there are so many brands you can affilate for!

AWIN
I have only recently started using AWIN so I could become an affiliate for FFS Razors. There is a £5 sign up free but there are no requirements to sign up. There are hundreds of brands on AWIN so whatever your niche is you will be sure to find something. Sometimes brands will invite you on AWIN to join their affiliate program.

Get blogged
Get Blogged have an affiliate program that you can sign up to. I talk more about this later and what I use it for.
You can sign up to Get Blogged Here.
The Unpredicted Page Affiliate Program
I have recently created a few products that I am selling on Gumroad and I would love to have a couple of new affiliates. You will receive 40% from each sale you make!
You must have a Gumroad account (Don’t worry it is free to create one).
Your web host
Your web host may have an affiliate program. For example, I am with Hostinger and I joined there affiliate program.
What do Influencer programs involve?
Influencer programs connect bloggers and influencers with brands who are looking to promote a product, their business or a service.
This can either be through your blog or any social media platforms.
Do I need a Media Kit?
If you want to bag brand deals and sponsored posts then an Influencer Media Kit is essential for you. Influencer Media Kits are not difficult to get your head around at all, you just need to do a little bit of research. Luckily for you, I have put all that information into one place for you!
Sometimes brands on these platforms will ask to see your media kit so it is always handy to have one!
Check out my post on how to Create a Media Kit and download your free template.
Influencers programs:
Get Blogged
Get Blogged is a platform where bloggers can apply to campaigns depending on their DA. The campaigns are to produce blog posts.
Your DA is a score given to your blog created by Moz. The higher your DA then the more brands will pay for you to create sponsored content.
A DA of 5 is needed to get campaigns.
You have to write a detailed cover letter to apply so thar brands know you are right for the job.
You can sign up to Get Blogged Here.
Tribe
Tribe is an amazing platform for people who focus more on Instagram than blogging. They offer more social media campaigns mostly on Instagram. Ideally, you need over 3000 followers.
I have worked with the Department of Transport, Universities, Anchor, Ziglu and Co-op through Tribe to create sponsored Instagram posts.
I have a post that goes into much more detail about Tribe and how it works if you wanted to check that out.
How to use Tribe to get paid sponsored social media posts
HOWEVER, the only thing I would say with tribe is that it is probably more suited to people with a smaller following. As those who have bigger followers are getting paid less than they deserve. So Tribe is good for offering you those campaigns but make sure you are getting paid for your work. I do believe that they are currently going through a lot of improvements within the app so things are looking good.
Influenz
Influenz is a new program that I have come across. I believe it is American but you can still use it if you are from the UK.
I am currently in negotiation over price with two brands over campaigns to product Instagram content. So hopefully everything goes to plan.
UPDATE 17th march 2021: I have so far worked with 2 brands on Influenz, they have both been unknown brands and therefore I accepted a lower payment because of this. One brand was a sustainable company, and I was more than happy to support these brands. So I recommend this site, the only thing I would say is the opportunities are not as frequent as Tribe.
The Blogger Program
The Blogger Program is one of the most easiest platforms to navigate and apply to campaigns. All you have to do is click ‘apply’ if you fit the brand campaign requirements.
The only downside is that most of the partnerships are gifted. So this is great if you have a small following and what to start monetising and building a portfolio then gifting is a great way to start.
Bloggers required
Bloggers required is used by many bloggers I know. The brands offer campaigns from Instagram posts to blog posts so there will definitely be something for you on there. The website isn’t the easiest to navigate and you do have to write a little cover letter to apply but I wouldn’t let this stop you.
UPDATE: 17th march 2021: I do not use this site as much anymore because the opportunities are mostly gifted.
Zine
Again, Zine is a new one I have been using. I haven’t secured any deals as of yet due to the brands not fitting into what I talk about.
However, I believe if you were in a different niche Zine might have more to offer to you.
Activate
Active focuses more on social media campaigns. Again, I have only just signed up to this platform, so I am not 100% sure what the outcome will be but so far it looks good.
I think they look for people who have 10k or more on instagram so please let me know if you give this a go!

Intellifluence
Intellifluecne is a platform I have just started using. I managed to secure a sponsored blog post for decent pay, so I would recommend you try this site out. I have only used it once, so I don’t have an opinion of it yet but it would be interesting if anyone else has and could let me know!

Final thoughts
I personally think Get Blogged and Tribe have been the most successful platforms for me so far.
You can 100% make money from blogging only having a DA of 5 or more and 3k followers on Instagram so why not give it a go!
