Are you looking to get paid sponsored social media posts such as Instagram?
Good! You are in the right place.
I have been trialling multiple apps that say they can get you sponsored posts. The best one I have found so far is Tribe. It has worked perfectly and has been super easy to navigate and understand.
When you don’t have tens of thousands of followers you think you have no chance at getting sponsored posts. I believed this until I started using Tribe. I got my first sponsored post when I had 3500 followers. So i deffo recommend you all to have a go!

What is Tribe?
Tribe is an app where influencers and bloggers can upload submissions to campaigns. Brands create the campaigns and they select influencers who fit with their brand and they liked the submitted photo. They also have to agree to the fee that the influence has set.
Brands can sign up on a laptop or desktop. But if you are an influencer you need yo use the app.
Does Tribe work?
I have been using Tribe since June 2020 and I have already had 2 paid ads on Instagram.
I love how easy it is to navigate and how there are so many different campaigns that there is normally one that fits what I do.
Tribe Requirements
The only thing is you need to have at least 3000 followers on Instagram to be able to apply to campaigns.
How to find a campaign for you
The first button of the footer menu is campaigns. Here you can scroll through all of the campaigns to see what suits you. You can also see if they want Instagram, Twitter or Facebook Ads.
You can also select certain categories that you are interested in so that these are the only campaigns that show up. For example, if you are a beauty blogger and your social media is full of beauty products then you won’t exactly be wanting to post a Waitrose Ad on your Instagram feed. So this feature makes it easier to see which campaigns are suited to you.
Here are the categories:

How to apply to a campaign
Here is an example of what happens when you click on a campaign that you want to apply for. The first thing that comes up is the Influencer requirements. Here you can see if you fit the age requirements ans the follower count.
They also start with a little paragraph about the brand so you can understand their point and what they want you to get across. This part can also help you with your caption.
We will go with the example of Waitrose:
Campaign fees
Here is what they give you as a guide when choosing your feed for a paid sponsored social media post. You should be being paid less than £50 for a post.
Moodboard
Next, they will show some sort of a mood board which is great inspiration for what they are looking for in the applications for a paid sponsored social media post so make sure you don’t ignore it.
The brief
They give you a brief of the content they would like to see in the submissions. They may also write a little to help you out with the caption. Sometimes you have to buy the product first in order to take a picture and submit it. So make sure you are serious about the campaign.
They will also include the hashtags that they would like you to use.
Approved posts
Sometimes brands have a section where you can scroll through all the posts they have previously accepted. This means you will be able to understand what they are looking for a little better.
I always use this as inspiration as you can clearly see what the brand is liking.
House rules on all campaigns
When you are doing paid sponsored social media posts, there are house rules that apply to every campaign you take on. This includes how to disclose an ad and making sure you keep the post up for the right amount of time.
Do’s and Dont’s
Each brand has different things they would like you to do. For example, there may be a certain way they would like you to take the photo. Or there may be things they don’t want you to do like add a filter that changes the colours of the brand.
Tribe Inbox
In your Inbox, you can see your notifications as well as messages from brands. this might be if a campaign you have favourited is closing the campaign. Or if any money has just come in.
Sometimes brands may reach out to you if they like your content.
Tribe App: Overview
Overall, I think Tribe is an excellent app for new bloggers and influencers who are wanting to make a little extra money on the side. I personally can’t believe how amazing its been!
