Manifestation is becoming a more talked about topic and I am so here for it! So the big question is what does it mean to manifest something? Manifestation can mean something different for everyone. So throughout this post I wanted to talk about the different methods you can use to manifest something or someone.
What is manifestation?
“A manifestation is the public display of emotion or feeling, or something theoretical made real. Manifestation’s origins are in religion and spirituality because if something spiritual becomes real, it is said to be a manifestation. The word’s usage has spread to include all aspects of life.”
Really, manifestation can be used in whatever way you want it to be. Look out for signs from the universe that are telling you things. There are no limits to manifestation. Even if you are limited on resources you need to believe you can do it to be able to do it. Whatever that may be.
Manifestation is about being realistic but dreaming big and achieving those dreams. As long as you believe your goal is realistic and achievable then you will make it. It is all about having a positive mind set.
How to start manifesting
There are so many different ways you can start manifesting. Here is a list of a few methods you may want to try (or you may already be doing!)
Gratitude journaling – You will need to use a journal for this (this can be digital or a diary can be used).
Dimension Jumping – Two cups method.
Vision board – Pinterest is a great place to start.
Affirmations – This can include writing a manifestation list
‘Mental Rehersal’ Technique
Letters from the future – This is one of my favourite manifestation techniques for to manifest something.
5×55 method – This is slightly longer process than the others but well worth it in the end.
Each method will work different for each person so just becuase it works for someone else does not mean it will automatically work for you. Give a few different methods a try and you will be able to see which ones you feel more comfortable doing. If you want more information on how to carry out each of these methods check out this post: 10 Successful Manifestation Methods: How do they work?
What does it mean to manifest someone?
When you think about manifesting ‘someone’ your mind would assume you mean a crush, someone you want to be in a life long relationship with. However, this can also be ‘someone’ you think you could be really good friends with. Or someone who enjoys the same hobbies as you do so you know you would get on like a house on fire.
Things you need to do before you manifest someone:
Clear your mind
You need to clear your mind so the universe can lead you. Make sure you are not being too specific. A clear mind will give you a better chance. It allows you to focus.
Have a heathly mind
This leads on from having a clear mind. If you are physically fit and mentally healthy then it will be so much easier to clear your mind. Make sure you are in the right space on mind to be able to manifest something.
Get into a positve mind set
Forget any negative thoughts or feelings so that you can focus clearly. Any negativity will get i the way. You need to have ever part of your mind focused.
Set your goals straight – priorities
When you are trying to manifest someone, you need to short list and prioritise. Remember you aren’t manifesting someone specific. You are manifesting a life long friendship or true love.
Check for signs
The universe will send you signs. They may let you know that you are on the right path. Or they may be trying to push you onto the right path so keep your mind switched on.
What does it mean to manifest something?
Similarly to manifesting someone, you can also manifest ‘something’. The best thing to do here is to create a list of affirmations and narrow it down to what means the most to you. This can include things like:
I would be really happy if I achieved a 2:1 at University.
I would love to own my dream house that has a big garden.
Personally, I would recommend taking one thing at a time so that you can really put all of your energy into it. When you have narrowed down your goals and affirmations, you need to decide which of the manifestation methods mentioned earlier are best suited to you.
DON’T DO THIS WHEN TRYING TO MANIFEST SOMETHING
Let negative thoughts control you
If you let your mind get consumed by negative thoughts, they will not get anyway. Negative thoughts lead to negative feelings and you stop believing in yourself.
Manifestion will take as long as it takes so do not worry if things are going slower for you. Everybody needs to go at thier own pace.
Give it time
When you manifest something it takes time so do not give up straight away! Also, do not give up just because you do not have the resources you need with you right there and then. One of your first steps would be to manifest the resources you need with the help of the universe and if it is meant to be it will work out for you if you believe it.
When you start manifesting you need to set out goals that you want to achieve. This can include something as similar as:
I want to be able to save enough money, so I can go on holiday next year
I want to achieve an A at A Level.
You can plan bigger:
I would be really grateful if I could work in my dream job role.
Then you could use the 369 manifestation method for example.
When you are manifesting and asking the universe for something they you really need to beleive. Make sure the ask is reasonable and achieveable and then beelive it will happen.
There are multiple methods to manifest something. These can include (but is not limited to):
Dimension Jumping – Two cups method
‘Mental Rehersal’ Technique
Letters from the future
I would love to know if you use manifestation techniques! Have you ever manifested someone or something? I know a lot of people disagree with manifestation and believe it is pointless so I would love to know your thoughts!
Personally I believe manifestation can massively help you achieve your goals and if anything it puts you in the right mindset to do so.

Thanks for sharing this! It can be quite difficult to get to grips with manifestation and understanding how it works and what it’s all about (I know I struggle with it) — so this was really useful! Thanks for all the tips, this is going to really help.
I love the idea of manifestation but sometimes I get confused about what it is exactly. This post totally cleared it up and now I’m off to read your other posts on it 🙂 xx

I think of manifesting as sort of willing something to happen. If you put enough positive thought and intent behind something it can manifest to reality. I try to do that with certain things in my life, but have never considered or known about specific methods for doing it. Thank you for sharing.
