Do you have someone who is getting into the world of entrepreneurship and/or content creating? Maybe it’s someone who has been in that world for a little while now. More and more people are hopping on the “becoming my own boss” board, which makes sense because it feels good to become your own boss. However, it’s not easy and there are a lot of things needed in order to continue to grow or even just start.
The list of items needed is endless and if you’re not in the entrepreneurship world, then maybe you don’t fully understand, but you want to gift items to someone who is. If you need help with figuring out just what to gift a creator or entrepreneur, I have a list with ten ideas that any content creator and entrepreneur will not only love, but need!
PIN FOR LATER!
1. Buy their products or service
This probably the best gift you could give for someone who has their own business. Purchasing from someone who is selling a product or service is doing a lot more than just getting their product. You are supporting their business and helping them out during what could even possibly be a struggling time for them. A lot of people are struggling this year and small businesses especially need a lot of love and support. If there is someone who has a service that you really want to support but it’s not a service you need, then ask how much is it and send them the money. Along with that, make sure to share the service and products as well, so it can reach someone who does need it.
2. Pay their website bill
Websites are not cheap and if you are a content creator, then you feel this in your soul. I have to renew my website in February and I could practically have a heart attack with how much it’s going to cost! If you know someone who has their own website, whether someone close or a nice stranger you met online, offering to help pay to renew or even helping someone purchase a website that wants/ needs one, would be a huge help. The bills can get pretty pricey, so I would never have someone pay the entire thing, but contributing for half helps significantly as well.
3. Pay for them to take part in a course or service
Earlier this year, there was a virtual business boot camp that was created by a woman who I’ve admired since I discovered her a year ago. She is the definition of the girl boss I’m striving to become. It was her first boot camp and I needed to take part, but I couldn’t risk spending the little bit of money I did have since Covid had me out of work and I had no money coming in at the time.
My friend, however, believes in me so much that she sent me the money so I could go and I’m still so grateful! I was able to learn so much in that boot camp. If you know someone who wants to take part in a course; webinar; consultation service; or coaching service; then you can gift that to them. If you believe in someone the same way my friend believed in me, this is the perfect way to showcase that. If you know someone who is trying to start blogging specifically,
I would love to help them with the beginning steps in a 1-1 consultation! All you have to do is schedule a consultation here and give the gift of aiding in helping someone with their passion!
4. Get them a planner *
Whether virtual or physical, a planner is like the universal Holy Grail product that most, if not all, creators/entrepreneurs need. There are so many things being created, important deadlines to remember, posts have to be organized and planned out…it’s all so much and it only gets more hectic the more you grow!
A planner helps keep some form of organization, which is often needed even if you’re not a creator. My new favourite brand is the Day Designer planners! I decided to go with a timed planner because I needed help with scheduling things better and making sure I didn’t spend too much time on one task more than the others (unless it’s truly needed). These planners are so sleek, chic, and are perfect to begin planning the new year!

5. Blue light glasses
This one is not only a good gift for a creator, but for the eyes of the creator as well. Creators are often spending hours upon hours looking at a screen, whether that’s on the phone or laptop. This can cause strain on the eyes and sometimes headaches.
Blue light glasses help combat those issues. There are tons of different types to choose from and they range in various prices. If the person you’re gifting these wears prescription glasses, you’re even able to purchase some that will allow them to add their prescription!
6. Self-care products
The thing about being your own boss is, you don’t just clock in and clock out on a schedule. You can create your own schedule when you don’t check emails or messages, but the work is constant.
There’s always SOMETHING that’s needed to be done, which can leave very little space for self-care at times if it’s not made as much of a priority as all the other work. This makes self-care items the perfect gift! An idea that you could make a care package or gift basket filled with self-care items. Some of those items could include a candle, face masks, bath bombs, nail products, etc. The list is endless and it’s fun with how creative you’re able to get.

7. Pretty Pinterest Template Kit*
A great idea, especially if you’re gifting someone who’s a blogger or YouTuber, is to gift them, Ambers, Pretty Pinterest Template Starter Kit! It is frustrating sometimes and very time consuming trying to create your own pin designs for Pinterest (which matters to gain traffic); especially if you’re new to it and have no idea what designs work the best.
This Template kit is filled with 45 designs that are premade and ready for you to personalize. They are also less than $10, so if you’re on a budget but still want to give a gift and help a creator out, these are perfect.
8. Books for continued education
Learning never ends for the creator/entrepreneur. There’s always something new to learn and ways to grow your craft. I recently purchased a few books from
Amazon about becoming a CEO and how to manage money. If you know the person you’re looking to buy a gift for likes to read then books that can help them become more knowledgeable in their craft or business are great gifts. It’s the little things that truly are the most needed sometimes.
9. Materials to help grow their biz
No matter what business or niche someone’s in, there’s always something they could use to help grow their content. For example: podcasters could use better microphones or maybe a windscreen; bloggers could use the Pinterest template kit that I mentioned earlier or, if you want to go bigger, maybe even a new laptop; YouTubers could use new equipment…the list just goes on. It doesn’t matter if it’s something big or small if it’s needed then the person will appreciate it.
10. Coffee maker or Starbucks gift card
Lastly, creators/entrepreneurs have plenty of long days working and sometimes even longer nights trying to produce the best content and making sure their ideas are out in a timely fashion. A lot of times it’s just one person doing everything, especially if it’s a small business.
With that being said, coffee is a constant need and a coffee maker or even a Starbucks gift card would do wonders! If the person doesn’t like to drink coffee, then it still works because Starbucks sells tea and if you get a Keurig, they can use tea K-pods. Also, if someone who prefers tea has a favorite tea spot, then you can just get them a gift card for there!
