Date Ideas during a pandemic:
Start with online dating (stay local)
Online dating is your safest bet at seeing what is available during a pandemic. If you haven’t got the confidence to talk to someone at the bar, the great thing is in a pandemic… you don’t have to!
The best thing to do is stay local and find people near you so that if you are possibly allowed to meet up then you don’t have yo travel far. This will be a major help as the pandemic has led to certain travel restrictions.
Merseyside dating
For example, if you happen to be from Merseyside then Merseyside dating website will be the way to go.
Move onto facetime
Facetime can be quite a big step. You can get to know each other on a more personal level.
Picnic dates
If the rules allow you to meet one other person from a different household then what’s stopping you from having a socially distanced date? This is such a fun thing to do and if you run out of things to say you can just eat all the food.
Walks in the park
Walks in the park can be a simple thing to do if you have a low budget, you will hardly have to spend anything and you can still get to know each other whilst socially distancing.
Lunch or Dinner dates
Again, if the rules mean that you can meet someone from a different household in a pub or restaurant then take them out for dinner before the restrictions change! This is why it is so important to stay local as you may be able to move between cities during the pandemic.
Make sure you stay safe and follow the proper transport rules for your area when travelling to your date.
Dating in a pandemic: Tips and Tricks
Ask the important stuff
Your time may be limited so make the most of the time you do have when you are together. Make sure you know a bit about them before you meet them.
Don’t waste your time – Be honest
There’s no point wasting your time and especially their tine if you just aren’t into them so make sure you let them know. It may be easy to cover the truth through a mobile screen.

I like this post. You definitely have some great tips. I was always skeptical about online dating. I always ended up meeting guys I dated unexpectedly at social outings , but now during the pandemic , I’m starting to consider it. This post made me more open to dating in these times.
