I know I have been the person when someone asks you what you want for your birthday and you answer with ‘nothing‘ when you don’t really mean it. Which makes it a whole lot harder for the people buying for you. So if you’re looking to buy gifts for the woman who wants nothing or who already has ‘everything‘ then you are in luck as I have compiled a list for you.
I’ve put together an amazon gift guide all items will be under £20. This list will be great if you are looking little gifts for friends, sisters, daughters, girlfriends and partners and anyone in general. if you were struggling to come up with ideas for birthdays and Christmas!
I don’t use Amazon as much as I could do, they literally have anything and everything you could want. A little tip would be to ask the person you are buying for to create an affordable amazon wishlist of which you can buy off. This is my whole list if you wanted to check it out here.
I have included gifts that are less typical and move away from the spa days and the new necklace.

Sustainable products
Reuseable straws
Firstly on my amazon gift guide: I found this set of reusable straws which includes 8 straws, 4 straight and 4 bent. I hate hate hate using plastic straws, so I rarely use them. They come with two brushes so you can clean the straws more easily after use which is handy. They come in a little bag as well, which is cute so you can take them out with you. This would be a great investment as a gift with a bonus of being good to the environment!
Reusable makeup pads
I recently bought my sister a pack of reusable pads to stop her from going through so many plastic packets of wipes. These are natural bamboo fabric and suit every type of skin. Unlike plastic packets of wipes, these have no chemicals in so they are better for you and for the environment. You can just put some water on them instead of using micellar water in plastic bottles. All you have to do is put them back in the bag they came in and pop them in the washing machine.
Self-care products
Hair Mask
So this is the “Ultimate Blends Garnier Almond Milk & Agave Sap Normal Hair Yoghurt Mask” in a 300ml tub. I love using hair masks it’s like my new thing that I’ve got into! I definitely recommend gifting this, I can really tell the difference with my hair it makes it feel so much softer. The ingredient used is all organic and is 100% paraben-free (Parabens are believed to disrupt hormone function by mimicking oestrogen. and is sometimes found in hair products), so it’s a win-win really.
Face masks
Face masks are a great way to relax at the end of the day or at the weekend. They can also do wonders for your skin. There are so many different types of face masks you can use so I normally go for the cheapest and the ones I have personally used myself. The 7th heaven face masks are fab and I have been using them for years.
Bath salts
There are tonnes and tonnes of different types of baths salts on Amazon that you can get your hands on. Baths salts are great for the woman who wants nothing as what can go wrong with offering them a bath with some lovely bath salts.
Diffuser
Diffusers come in a range of styles and scents. These are great gifts for the woman who wants nothing because they can be used in any room and will add a little something different.
Creative Gifts
Paint by numbers
I used to absolutely love paint by numbers when I was younger, so coming across these again is so cool. These paint by numbers are usually around 16×20 inch (40×50 cm) in size and they don’t come with a frame unless you opt for one – I’m thinking about framing some if they look good enough. The good thing about this is it comes with the brushes and obviously the paints, so you’re all set to go.
Amazon has a massive range of designs and they have beginners painting if you wanted to gift something a little easier. I’ve just purchased my second one they’re such a good idea for something to do in lockdown. You can check out my other ideas on what to do during lockdown.
Metallic sharpies
Next on my amazon gift guide is this is a pack of 8 metallic pens, the colours included are: Gold, Silver, Copper, Light Green, Green, Blue, Purple and Pink. They also come with a brush tip that would be cool. This is a simple gift you can’t go wrong with.
I wanted these pens to use in my journal, colour helps me when I’m organising things so these pens would be great for that. They would be great just for writing down little notes throughout the day. They are also a little different to the usual biro so its a nice touch.
Big pencil case
A simple item but a big pencil case helps with organisation and because of its size, it means it can hold a lot more. This will make it so much easy for revision/ work/ projects having everything needed in one place.
Journal
A journal can be a great gift for a woman who does not want anything because it is less of a stereotypical gift and is a lot more thoughtful. A journal can be a place where they can write down all their plans, their thoughts and feelings.
Beauty products
Light up mirror
Light up mirrors are such a good idea (and they make your makeup look better). This mirror is only 12cm x 15.3cm so it means it can be taken around in your bag – so handy! It comes with the batteries so it can be set up right away. They’re currently on sale with £5 off!
Amazon Flower lipsticks
I’ve seen these lipsticks around before, they are dupes for the Kailijumei flower jelly lipsticks which cost around $22 so finding these on amazon for less than £3 is such a good buy. They come in a range of different colours and flowers. These lipsticks have an average of 4 stars on Amazon so they are legit.
Hair clips
This pack comes with 20 hair clips! 20 clips for only £8.99. They have 4.5 stars, so the clips are proper. I’ve been getting into wearing clips more and more when I go out now. So, I’ve just purchased this pack. They come in a range of different designs so you would be able to find one to suit different outfits so they are great gifts for women who say they want nothing.
Food and drink
Birthday cake Oreo’s
Birthday cake Oreo’s are the best Oreo’s ever! I had them when I was in America and I much prefer them over normal Oreo’s. In the UK they are so hard to find in fact I don’t think we have any in the big supermarkets at all – whenever I check they don’t have any). Let me know if we do as amazon is the closest I have come to them.
Chocolate hamper
A chocolate hamper is a lovely way to gift someone. You can even create your own and make it more personal.
Cocktail maker kit
Now ordering a cocktail making kit can be such an amazing gift as it creates a whole new activity to do. Activities can sometimes be a greater present than a physical gift.
Bits and bobs
Purse
A cute purse can be a lovely gift. I don’t know about anyone else but I do know I always put off buying a new purse for myself despite my old one always being wrecked!
Candles
Candles are a no brainer really. They smell lovely and will make your house smell great so why not. You can find some really beautiful scents for cheap on amazon.
Window Plants
Window plants are probably the one item that is not on the list of a women who has ‘everything’. They are a great gift because they add a little extra to the room. You go for the real plants or for the fake ones. Both have the same look so it depends how much effort you want to put into maintaining them.
Practical gifts
Car vacuum
Car vacuums are a great way to help someone out with a practical gift. I don’t personally own one and I don’t know a lot of people who do but it would be a handy little gift for someone who already has everything.
Kitchen draw tool set
A kitchen draw tool set is a gift that is very handy that many people wouldn’t think about. We all have a draw in the kitchen with random bits and bobs in it so why not make that draw useful.
(I was unable to find this on Amazon but it is on eBay – I thought it was too good to leave out)
Personalised products
Moon lamp
A Personalised moon lamp is a unique way to make a gift more personal because it shows you have put effort into it. You have to select a picture that can be added onto the light. I know people who have the non- personalised version and they are a lovely touch to add detail to a room.
Scrapbook made by you
So I have actually created and gifted someone a personalised scrapbook before and they loved it. It’s a great way to create an inexpensive gift. It will be fun for you to make and because you have sent time on it, it will mean more to them. It is something that the person who has everything definitely does not have!
About the Author

I’ve been super interested in trying the reusable makeup pads. I might have to give it a try now! I use metal straws already but I have been looking into fun colored ones. I also have ones that have the little silicon piece at the top so it wont hurt your teeth. And I’m for sure buying that light up mirror. That’s an awesome price!
sreidy17gmailcom says

I have to admit I just came to this post for myself and not for gifting purposes. I love the sustainable gifts – they are a nice gift as well as maybe encourage people to be more sustainable especially when its so difficult to invest in sustainable items you might not be able to get used to. Its a good way to try. Please let me know if you know the specific candle shown in your post – its so chic!
Izzy Matias says
I love how you have a section for sustainable products. I would definitely like a diffuser or a new journal. I have so many notebooks I have yet to use but there’s just something about notebooks that makes me happy 😂 Great list! 🙂

Teresa says
Such a great list of things! At the age of 30 it does become a problem trying to figure out something useful to gift friends and family when they already seem to have everything. I particularly like the sustainable gifts, we should all be making these little switches in our everyday lives so gifting reusable make-up pads and straws is going on my list!

Honestly, these are such great ideas and I wish I would get these kinds of gifts. This year for Christmas I got alcohol. From my immediate family! And worst of all, they all knew I was pregnant but they said they had bought it before lockdown. I was so upset by it. I still have no words.
Della Driscoll says
I am that woman who never wants anything so these are some great suggestions, especially diffusers xx
