What is Echoist?
Echoist is a NEW technology created for students (or anyone who regularly attends webinars or online events!). It has multiple functions that can help aid your learning. Oh.. and it’s totally FREE!
“Echo is your education companion, automated note-taker and revision assistant. Dynamically relive your lectures like never before, in a fraction of the time, without missing a word. We’re changing the note-taking game, one Echoist at a time. Lecture at home, revise on the go, learn in the bath, just take Echo with you.”
The background to Echoist:
The founders of Echo created technology in 2013 that allowed speech therapists to track key moments of their therapy sessions with students.
Echo started when the team behind the original technology knew that an agnostic meeting tracking tool would be extremely valuable to any individual that wants to be more productive during and after meetings.
As the pandemic introduced itself, the world went remote first, therefore igniting our drive to complete and launch Echo to the market.
With registrations from Salesforce, Condenast (Vogue), Gartner, and more, the prevailing need was seen from the vast amount of Universities and students that registered for early access in the summer of 2020.
Who is Echoist for?
Echoist is an excellent tool for students.
However, it is not limited to students. If you use online webinars for meetings, workshops, or any other reason, then echoist will be great for you!

Reviews:
“Echoist is a great piece of software that is so easy to navigate. You can save, manage and rewatch all of your lecture or workshop audio back, it’s an app that personally would have helped me so much on my undergraduate degree. I love that you can trackback so you don’t miss anything important.”

“This is a really great resource for students whose studying has been disrupted by the pandemic and having to work from home. I really like the sleek design and the simplicity of the interface. It’s so easy to use and also easy to find and access your old sessions. It’s also great that you can choose your own storage platform (i.e. Google Drive) to be used with it so that you can access it wherever you need to. As a distance learning student, there was definitely a gap in the market for this. The concept is great and I’m looking forward to continuing to use it through the rest of my studies!”
Laura Elizabeth
“Echoist is a very helpful software for all students learning online. While it’s not intuitive in the beginning, it can serve as a great lifehack to online school. The transcripts for lecture videos are my absolute favorite feature!”
