2020 was a year of ups and downs so let’s make the most of 2021!
Why giving up is never the solution?
Giving up on your dreams is synonymous to giving up on yourself. We need to realize that all of us are unique and special in our own way. If we do not invest and believe in ourselves, nobody else would. It is quite a possibility that there are tons of people out there who carry the same dreams and goals like you. However, each one of them has their own way of manifesting them.
So now you may ask what does never giving up mean? Does it mean to never give up even after a hundred attempts? In simple words, yes, it does. Never giving up means to never stop trying. Every step of action towards your dreams is just taking you one step closer to your goals. And if you happen to fail at it, count it as a learning experience. Just like you would accept success with folded arms, learn to accept the failures as well. For instance, if you are into basketball and love the sport, look at ways to ace your game. Invest in a portable basketball hoop that will allow you to practise anywhere anytime. Similarly, it is important to take breaks or rest using inflatable couches. This will give you time to relax your mind and body. Dream big, practise hard and be consistent. But never end up quitting.
It is important to know that failures are a crucial element that will help you gain success. As life and death are the two sides of reality, success and failure are a part of our living. No one ever gained success in an instant. It is the fruit of hard work, patience, determination, tolerance and compassion.
Famous Personalities That Will Inspire You To Work Hard
Famous personalities or celebrities are simply common human beings with uncommon character traits that make them what they are today. We always have seen their fame, success, achievements and money. However, we aren’t aware of their struggles and failures. Let’s have a deeper look into their lives and see how they worked hard enough to reach the place they own today.

Colonel Harland Sanders was born in the year 1890 in Indiana. At a young age of 6, he was left with the responsibility of his younger brother and sister after his father passed away. By the age of 7, he was a decent chef. His circumstances then forced him to drop out of his school. He also had a short stint in the Cuba Army. Later on, he went on to perform some odd jobs.
He finally got his first breakthrough in the year 1939 when he discovered the fried chicken with some secret spices made in a cooker. Soon he gained immense popularity and made a deal with a friend restaurateur. The deal got his good profits after which he decided to tie up with several other restaurants as well. As he was on the peak of success, he had to sell his restaurant due to interstate issues. But he never gave up. He got on the road along with his wife. His next plan was to enter a restaurant and cook them the fried chicken.
If they liked the taste, he cracked a deal with them. By 1963, he had over 600 restaurants that sold his very famous Kentucky Fried Chicken. The colonel was later approached by John Y. Brown and Jack C. Massey who wished to buy the rights of the franchise. Though he was reluctant in the beginning, he sold his rights for $2 million in January 1965. The contract between them suggested having their own restaurants without changing the secret recipe.
2. J.K Rowling
Joanne Rowling or J.K Rowling faced a lot of struggles right from her childhood. While her mother was ill, family issues caused troubles between herself and her father. Due to difficult circumstances, she even thought of suicide but never dared to do so. All through these hard years, her love for literature and English never died.
She started writing from the age of 6 and had hoped to write something fascinating. The idea of Harry Potter emerged on a train that she took from Manchester to London. Though the story was rejected multiple times initially, once it eas accepted, it changed things for her. As we all know, later Harry Potter created a history. The magnitude of the characters, story and writing won over the hearts of the audience.

She was raped the first time at the age of 9 by a cousin. However, this was just the beginning of the worse. Later, at the age of 14, she left with her father to Nashville, Tennessee. It was her father that provided her with a sense of direction to her life.
The educational environment encouraged her to give her best. She also was the most popular girl in her entire class. It was during this time that she discovered her love for media. Soon, she took up a job at a black radio station without compromising with her school. By the time she reached the senior year, she earned a full scholarship. However, at the age of 19, she decided to leave college and follow her passion for media. Oprah then went on to become the first black female news anchor right before she turned 20.
She even faced humiliation and sexual abuse, but she was determined to work it out. Later, she was fired a few months after joining. But her passion didn’t keep her down for long. Wonderful Tips To Hold On When The Tough Gets Going
Though it may be easy to say ‘Never Give Up’, we know how hard it can be to actually be going through difficult times. However, it is always important to believe in yourself and your potential as well. You never know how close you are to reaching your dreams or goals. Just like we saw incredible stories of some famous personalities, we had a deeper look into their lives and struggles. Similarly, the only way to achieve success is to keep on working towards it. If you are undergoing similar circumstances and wish to quit your dreams, we hope these tips will help you to stay afloat.
1. Keep realistic expectations
Success isn’t an overnight formula. It’s years of hard work, labour, consistency, and determination. Hence, do not expect to be a millionaire in a day or two. It is important to set realistic expectations which will depend on your work. Also, never goes or waste time over how others succeed. You never know the true story of people. This is why it is crucial to concentrate on your goals and work out ways to achieve them.
2. Do not compare yourself with others
This is another realistic tip which will be extremely useful to you. Do not compare your story with others. Each one of us has a different life route each with unique experiences. And no one would ever preach their situations out in the open. It is important to realize that every individual has a story to tell. You might think that you know them well, however, you may not. Never predict others lives and feel misery yourself. Be thankful for your experiences and keep going.
3. Allow pauses, not full stops
There may be times when you feel tired, exhausted or simply overwhelmed. And it is completely okay to take a break from your routine. You can take a pause and use the time creatively. Stepping back can give you a wider perspective on situations. It is okay to rest and but not okay to stop altogether. During these tough moments, you can shout and cry but promise yourself to bounce back with full force.
Conclusion:
Life is a blessing. Hence, use your blessing wisely and spend it on the right choices. Have big dreams and bigger plans to make them come true. Remember, failure and success are just a part of life. A broader perspective will enable you to see the best things in every situation.

IU had a hard childhood, grew up in poverty, she was once conned, failed her audition twice, and did not received any applause during her debut. But she never gives up. Her hard work and courage makes her the Queen of K-Pop. And that is incredible to me.

The final tip at the end is my favorite. Taking pauses and not fullstops. I think many of us get into something, but we decide to take a break and that break stretches into weeks, months, and we eventually forget that we were even interested in something. I hope that I will continue to devote my time to growing my blog in the years to come. Thanks for sharing these tips and the lived experiences of some of pop culture’s biggest names.
