Why do you need a stationery kit?
Veing prepared for university is super important! It sets the scene for your whloe university expenrice. If you are not prepared then it is proven that you will not be able to stay on task
Items to put in your pencil case
To start off our student essentials pack for university, you need to grab yourself a decent sized pencil case. Try not to get into the habit of throwing your stationery to the bottom of your bag and losing it. (We’ve all been there!)
Here is everything I suggest you should be including in your pencil case to create your University Stationery bundle:
- Highlighters
- Pens and pencils
- Eraser
- Pencil sharpener
- Ruler
- Paper clips
- Scissors
- Calculator
- Glue stick
Items to have in your bag
These stationery items are things that you probably won’t be able to fit in your pencil case, but they are great to have with you in the day just in case.
- Memory stick – a memory stick can be so important when you are writing essays, imagine doing all that hard work just to lose it on the uni computers.
- Post-it notes – post-it notes are great to carry around if you need to quickly write something down.
Daily Goal-Setter – I have recently been using a gaol setter and it is the most helpful thing! My daily goal setter is from Mal Paper. It offers long, medium and short term goals, a 12-month calendar review spread, space for general notes, weekly reviews, things to be grateful for that week and all the way through are motivational quotes. I have been using it every day since I received it and I can say I was not disappointed!
- Revision cards – revision cards are really handy if you ever have a space session where you can spend a bit of time going over the things you learnt.
- General note pad – The most imp0ortant thing you need to take is your note pad so you can write down all your notes from lectures and seminars.
Things to put on your desk
Next in our University Stationery bundle is things that will be handy to have on your desk:
- Sellotape – this was something I could never get a hold of when I needed it. So having one of these on your desk will make it so much easier.
- Rubber bands – You never know when you may need a rubber band!
- Stapler – These are great for keeping papers and notes together that came from the same lesson.
- Hole punch
- Notice board pins – If you have a notice board then make sure you have some pins to use with it!

Which stores should you use?
Amazon
Amazon have a massive range of stationery at all different prices. I have bought stationery off amazon before and you just can’t go wrong.
Mal Paper
Mal paper offers beautifully designed planner and notebooks. You can sign up and Save 10% on your order and receive a free pdf version of the Daily Goal-Setter.
Charity Stores
You never know what you can find in charity stores. I have seen staples and pencil cases before so it is worth a look if you are wanting to do this cheaply!
WHSmiths
WHSmiths do have some amazing stationery however it can be slightly expensive. So it depends on whether you are trying to do this on a budget or not.
I have seen them put on student deals right before university starts so do look out for that.
Final thoughts
Putting a University Stationery bundle can be super easy. I also think its a great idea to get prepared for university by making sure you have everything you need. University can be stressful at times so having everything you need in one place can help so much.

Thanks for sharing, these are great tips, I found stationery always cheaper from Viking, but WHSmith has nice stuff to and Wilko does to 🙂
